Hi, I have a Contract-to-Hire requirement for a Java Developer in NYC. Please send me your updated resume, if you are interested in this position. Support Role for CVA Batch process: Java Developer, certification nice to have, knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, (T-SQL Sybase 11 or Oracle 10G PL/SQL) some understanding of financial products- emphasis on interest rate products and some quantitative exp (pricing financial instruments, VAR, CVAR Monte Carlo Simulation) or derivative/fixed income area support experience is a PLUS. They are looking for self starter who can work w/ minimum supervision. Must be able to think on their feet / outside the box and have excellent problem skills. Candidate will be working in a trading floor type environment; some development but mostly minor enhancements.
