The selected candidate will design, develop, code, test, debug and document programming applications to satisfy requirements of one or more user areas. The role typically provides 24-hour daily production and technical support to assigned systems within established SLAs. The Application Developer Analyst will provide comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level. The individual will work closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes and research / evaluate alternative.
Selected individual will be programming business functionality for a complex internally developed application in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
• Must have proven track record in implementing mid to large scale Java applications in Java/JEE in WebSphere, WebLogic or Tomcat environments along with Spring framework • A team player, with excellent communication and problem solving skills • Demonstrated experience working as a developer designing and delivering architectures, user interfaces, middle-tier and server-side components • Experience assisting in the design of end-to-end architectures and frameworks for financial services and other business application solutions • Experience in Open Source frameworks and libraries is a must • Experience with JPMC DEI or other Continuous Integration engines a plus • Experience with persistence strategies (iBatis, Hibernate, wrapped JDBC) to interact with databases is desired along with experience in using enterprise class RDBMs (Oracle, Sybase, etc.) • Familiarity with HTML/Java Script/CSS • Experience in JSF/Portal or any other MVC Web Frameworks • Web Development (JSP/Servlets) experience • Experience in using Eclipse or other IDEs or Maven, OSGi, is a big plus • SQL experience on Oracle is required • Experience in building war/ear files and deploying in server • Knowledge of Subversion or any other source code control systems • Experience in Linux, UNIX and/or AIX operating environments • Ideally graduate level or equivalent, or specialized training or equivalent work experience • Excellent technical and analytical skills • Excellent communication and influence skills • Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office products • Must be familiar with structured project life cycle disciplines • Cross-functional IT experience in application development and interface design is essential in this role with an emphasis on web application development preferred • Ability to develop strong client relationships • Ability to communicate at all levels of management and with customers • Demonstrated skills both written and verbal are required Please send resumes to
